Below you are going to find my annotated bibliography assignment. This assignment is intended to be a helpful tool at the time of working on a research project. The annotated bibliography is used to get all the sources information we have and from there we could have a better and faster access to it.

Medical marijuana laws in 50 states: Investigating the relationship between state legalization of medical marijuana and marijuana use, abuse and dependence. Drug and Alcohol Dependence, 120(1-3), 22-27. doi: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0376871611002742
In this article the authors main arguments are that they are people has been approve for the use of marijuana by a medical situation but from there people abuse of the fact they may be using marijuana no matter what. The author is trying to show that marijuana medical rules may have a relationship with state legalization of marijuana.
The most important thing I found from the author’s message is that there is small information about community norms and laws about the use of marijuana. Also that they may be a relation between legalization of marijuana and medical marijuana. This is related to my topic because they are talking about the laws of marijuana and that it may be change through the problems people is facing. The focus on this argument is that studies have shown that people that has pass through medical use of marijuana have higher odds of marijuana use than people that obtains marijuana illegally. This is a timely information because of the studies they have made but also relevant because they go through all the facts of marijuana rules.

What the author is trying to say is that he is not agree neither disagree with drug legalization. He is just thinking about medical issues that people may have. He has no interest in arguing about drugs but he do wants for us to understand what are drugs and their effects. The reason is because he is a doctor by that he is always looking for the wealth of people no matter if they are strangers.
The thing that I found most important were the facts about marijuana that I didn't know. I have no idea from were it came neither the toxic substances people may put to the drug so it is easier for them to grow the plant. This article is related to my topic because it has many interesting facts that I would like to know more because this may change the way I think towards marijuana. This is a totally different research from others I have read. The reason is because he is not fighting neither persuading us about drug legalization. The author is just explaining what are the drugs, the effects, consequences, medical issues and many more interest facts that I have never consider before. I must say this is a very ethical information.

The author is trying to explain where the problem of drugs started. He is saying that drug problems started when people were young and they grew around people that uses drugs. He specifies here is the problem because they have seen drugs as something normal because they have seen it since they were kids.
The most important think I find from the author was that he is a very open mind person and by being this he understands why people may want to legalize drugs and why they cannot leave drugs. The message from the author is to stay firm in what you want in life, no matter if drugs legalized, we should follow our goals. This debate is related to my topic because I am talking about the importance of legalizing drugs but the author does not think the same way as me. He thinks the best we can do is to have strong moral towards what is correct and what is not.

In this article is explaining that marijuana use may have beneficial effects. People believe that marijuana is a drug and as drug it will bring many consequences. The author is trying to show their audience that there are many anecdotes of people out there about the miracles of marijuana and the way it has improve their lives.
What I found the most important about the author was that there are many cases of people that have recover of their illnesses because they start using marijuana the doctor gave them. And the author is trying to show us the impact of marijuana in children lives. This relate to my topic because the author is writing about the effete of marijuana but he makes reference to the awesome effects of this drug. This information is of incredible importance because people believe marijuana has negative effects but the truth is that people has prove they are wrong. This information is relevant because is an article of less than 2 months and is post in an important webpage.

The main arguments of the author are that no matter the way we see it, drug legalization would never work in the United States. He is saying this because he is a police and he has seen many situations in which people do not understand the consequences and the effects of them being drug.
I found most important from the author that he is has many points agains drug legalization and all of them are true, he has very good arguments for which drug should not be legalized. This article relates to my topic because I agree with drug legalization but he doesn’t and now I understand why people don’t want to legalize marijuana. This information is very important because there are many problems the police officers face due drugs and that many times we don’t know because we are not out there helping other people as they do. This is a different research because this is based on self-experiences on the streets. This information is timely and relevant because this has less than a month and it explains all the problems going on. At the same time it is ethical because he is talking with the truth.

In this article the author is explaining the ways marijuana can be used, not only as smoking it but also can be eaten brewed as a tea. The main arguments in this article are that the author is talking about the positive uses but also negative effects of marijuana use.
The thing I found most important of the author remains neutral through the entire article. He is talking about the good things marijuana use will bring but also the healthy risks of the use of marijuana. This debate relates to my topic in my research question in which I talk about the effects of marijuana use may have in people. This information is very important because we are looking to both sides of marijuana and from there we can decide better in which is the best we can do. This is a debatable article because it shows many information that I didn’t know about marijuana and now I have more information about it.
Wilking, R. (2014, Jan 6). DEA admits marijuana legalization scare us. Retrieved from http:// rt.com/usa/dea-against-marijuana-legalization-734/
In this article the author is telling us that legalization of marijuana is a topic that scares many people and this people also includes DEA. The author is saying that we are not ready for this. In one of the interviews he made with a DEA agent he said ‘This is a bad experiments, it’s going to cost us in terms of social costs’. The author is totally against legalizing drugs as many people.
What I found most important about the author message was that I have no idea that there were many influent people that were afraid of legalizing drugs. I think people from the government was waiting for drugs to legalize so they could make a profit. I was wrong, I understand that there were people as senator, DEA agents and many more that were really scared about the consequences of drug legalization. This is a credible information from the author because he is giving the exact name of the people he make the interview. This is an article related to my topic because here the author is talking about the fears of many people which don’t want drugs to be legal.
